Lead Automation Tester in JavaScript

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Automation Tester in JavaScript to join our team remotely. As a Lead Automation Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products through automated testing processes. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant work experience in UI and API test automation, as well as at least 1 year of leadership experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web applications using JavaScript and test frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and execute test cases based on product requirements and user stories
- Develop and maintain testing documentation such as test plans, test cases, and test reports
- Lead and mentor junior automation testers, providing guidance on testing best practices and processes
- Continuously evaluate and improve the automation testing framework, tools, and processes to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in Automated Testing
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Fluent in JavaScript language
- Proven experience in UI test automation using Selenium WebDriver and/or Protractor and/or WebdriverIO and/or Cypress and/or Puppeteer, and/or API test automation using SuperTest and/or Jest and/or Mocha
- Experience with test frameworks such as Protractor, WebdriverIO, Cypress, Mocha, Jest, Jasmine, and/or Puppeteer
- B2+ English level
Nice to have
- Experience with Node.js platform
- Familiarity with Build tools like npm, yarn
- Experience with Loggers like Log4js, Winston
- Knowledge of Code Analysis Tools like SonarQube, eslint, istanbul
- Understanding of Databases like SQL, noSQL
