Lead Automation Tester in Java for a Media company

Collaborate with QA and client teams on client engagements

Provide daily and weekly updates on QA team activities, accomplishments and issues

Provide input for planning, scope, schedule, and implementation of test automation projects

Define and implement an automated testing strategy

Add and modify test framework functionality based on requirements changes and validate the correctness of the functionality

Analyze failures and work with technical staff to ensure root causes are investigated

Record and track tasks and issues within JIRA

5+ years of experience in Automated Testing in Java

1+ years of experience in Leadership

Expert in Java or similar programming languages

Expert with TDD, BDD, CI and CD

Deep understanding of software development and testing best practices on preparing test scenarios, test cases, test script creation and execution of test cases

Experience of Git, GitHub

Experience on a variety of technology platforms (e.g. web services, API, windows server, Unix)

Experience using/testing cloud technologies (GCP)
