Currently, we are looking for a remote Lead Automation Tester to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Mentor the testing team to ensure that members have the required skills and are challenged to improve
  • Review resource skills and adopt new initiatives
  • Aa a QA Manager analyse, design, document plan and maintain the QA Strategy and Test Management Plan that includes testing methodology, environments, tools, reporting and technical requirements
  • Document and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable testing artefacts.
  • As QA manager being responsible of Demand Management by highlighting resource requirements and conduct interviews when required
  • Report Status for all test activities and Testing Phases of the project
  • Risk and issue management and escalation
  • Conduct thorough checks to ensure adherence to QA standards
  • Support improvements to projects and Proof of Concepts
  • Be responsible for all phases of testing – SIT, UAT, Performance, Non-Functional, Automation covering: Test Planning, Test Preparation, Test Execution, Reporting, Defect Management
  • Review solution proposals and participate in design workshops to ensure Testability and plan test automation activities in advance
  • Requirement’s elicitation to understand Business Goals, Needs and Objectives
  • Translate business needs into Testing Objects and relevant requirements (Functional, Non-functional)
  • Identify bugs and devise resolutions to these defects
  • Participate in an agile delivery environment, using a scrum or kanban methodology
  • Be the go-to person when it comes to QA Strategy and Tools and fully own the What and the How of testing automation
Requirements
  • 5+ years experience in software testing or development
  • Strong QA lead experience in a Software environment, coordinating multiple business/technical areas
  • Experience of QASD (QA approach) creation, Jira (i.e. standard SDLC documentation and processes)
  • Experience with Agile methodology
  • Ability to follow a defined software development process, acquire new information about the project and domain quickly from different sources
  • Ability to effectively communicate (e.g. listening, verbal and written communication) with all stakeholders in complex environments (multi-cultural/multi-country/geographically distributed team)
  • Good knowledge of web services, and have worked with XML and JSON
  • Ideally has working experience or good awareness of Mule, Spring framework, JMS/message queues, REST and SOAP
  • Team player, self-motivated, organised, strong communicator, driven and committed
  • Experience working in a dynamic environment
  • Experience working in the complete Software Development Lifecycle
  • Fluency in English
