Lead Automation Tester

Currently, we are looking for a remote Lead Automation Tester.

Our team is currently working on the development and support of different applications for our customer, a large US broker/dealer company. It provides a suite of high-quality execution and clearing products and services designed for institutional traders. The company specializes in the US options market and occupies about 15% of it. A key feature is the complete transparency of the system for their clients.

Responsibilities
  • Define testing strategy for the product which consists of few thousands of attributes with references to the additional scope of data
  • Implement automated tests for data validation
  • Select and automate Unit tests for one or two business rules
  • Conduct bug reporting and verification
  • Execute and manage test cases and results; report on test and defect metrics
  • Maintain incoming data quality control
  • Interpret specific business rules for better tests quality
  • Analyze previous solution(s) and reasons of failure, improve processes
Requirements
  • 5+ years’ experience in software test automation
  • Expertise in C# programming language
  • Experience with creating framework from scratch
  • Knowledge about collaboration principals between manual and automation teams
  • Being attentive to details, result-oriented, fast learner
  • Strong customer focus, excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Intermediate or higher English level (B1+)
  • Scrum knowledge
