We are seeking a remote Lead Automation Test Engineer (JavaScript) to join our team and work on testing our visualization product. As a Lead Test Engineer, you will be responsible for testing our product and ensuring its quality. You will be working with a team of developers, designers, and product managers to detect and resolve technical issues. You will use your expertise in automated testing and JavaScript to create and maintain test cases, and also help to improve our testing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the development team to detect and resolve technical issues
- Create and maintain automated test cases for our visualization product
- Ensure that all non-functional requirements/testing are met
- Contribute to improving our testing strategies and processes
- Lead the team of experienced engineers
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to estimating and planning
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in automation testing, using a value-driven approach
- Expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript
- 1+ year of relevant leadership experience
- Experience with integration testing tools such as Postman, Fitnesse, Karate
- Good understanding of non-functional requirements/testing such as performance, security, and accessibility
- Familiarity with OOP concepts
- Knowledge of architectural design and code
- Experience working in Agile teams and knowledge of Agile principles
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- B2+ English level proficiency

- Experience with React.js
- Proficiency with Enzyme
