Lead Angular Developer for an Insurance Company

We are currently looking for a remote Lead Angular Developer to join the team.

The customer is a leading wholesale provider of reinsurance, insurance, and other insurance-based forms of risk transfer. Dealing direct and working through brokers, its global client base consists of insurance companies, mid-to-large-sized corporations, and public sector clients.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Application Developers, QA Analysts
  • Design and develop low-latency, scalable, high available, distributed application services and delivering high-availability and performance;
  • Develop new features
  • Create re-usable components
  • Write well designed, testable, efficient code
  • Create unit tests
  • Perform code review for team members
  • Perform demos of completed works
  • Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
  • Participate in all scrum's ceremonies
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a JS Developer within production projects
  • 1+ years of Team/Tech leadership experience
  • Experience with Angular 6+(Angular 9 ideally)/Typescript
  • Deep knowledge of JavaScript (including ES5/6)
  • Knowledge of Material UI and Bootstrap Grid Systems
  • Knowledge of HTML
  • Understanding of SCSS
  • Understanding of Figma
  • Familiarity with DOM/BOM API
  • Unit Tests creation experience
  • Familiarity with Swagger
Nice to have
  • Knowledge of Azure App Services
  • Knowledge of GIT, Azure DevOps
