We are currently looking for a remote Lead Android Software Engineer with proficiency in Android development with Kotlin and MVVM to join our team.
The customer is an American multinational retail corporation that operates a chain of hypermarkets, discount department stores, and grocery stores.
Responsibilities
- Ensure and increase code coverage
- Improve application performance
- Contribute to the new Android native application development
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing for Android platform
- Proficiency in Android development with Kotlin and MVVM
- Deep knowledge of Android threading model and Android internals with emphasis on performance
- Solid experience with Espresso for unit testing & code coverage (client seeks code coverage above 90%)
- Hands-on experience with open-source technologies and cloud services
- English level - B1+
- 1+ year of relevant leadership experience
