We're on the lookout for a dynamic Lead Android Developer eager to be part of our remote team, contributing to the development of top-notch applications on a global scale.

As the Lead Android Developer, you'll spearhead the creation of inventive solutions, closely collaborating with a team of highly skilled developers. Your role entails ensuring the delivery of top-tier software by staying abreast of the latest industry trends and advancements.

Responsibilities
  • Craft and innovate Android applications, fine-tuning their performance and functionality
  • Lead and mentor a team of developers, offering technical expertise, support, and guidance
  • Work closely with developers and stakeholders to guarantee that applications meet specified requirements
  • Troubleshoot intricate problems, presenting scalable and efficient solutions to enhance overall functionality
  • Ensure all applications adhere to customer infrastructure and security standards, following best practices
  • Supervise the completion of multiple projects, showcasing your leadership and technical prowess in system design and architecture
  • Guide less experienced developers to enhance their skills and advance their careers
  • Champion innovation and continuous improvement in development practices and technologies
  • Monitor and enhance the performance of Android applications
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Android Developer, with a solid grounding in Java and Kotlin
  • Proven experience leading and executing at least one end-to-end design and architecture project or participating in multiple projects across various development lifecycle stages
  • Familiarity with Jetpack Compose and other contemporary frameworks for efficient app development
  • Expertise in API service connection paradigms, with a deep understanding of their advantages and disadvantages
  • Proficiency in continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) to ensure high code quality and efficiency
  • Capability to write automated unit, system, and acceptance tests, ensuring software reliability and functionality
  • Experience in Agile environments
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, showcasing excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills, enabling you to address complex technical challenges and provide optimal solutions
  • Advanced English language proficiency (Upper-Intermediate level) for effective communication with the team and stakeholders
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with GraphQL
  • Knowledge of Kotlin
  • Experience with cloud-based solutions
