We are seeking an experienced Lead AI Application Developer to build AI-enabled applications on an AWS serverless foundation. This role owns full-stack application architecture across Lambda and API Gateway, integrates Amazon Bedrock for content extraction and classification, and leads a blended AWS and partner delivery team operating in a regulated healthcare and life sciences setting.
Responsibilities
- Design and build full-stack application architecture on AWS serverless foundations
- Develop AWS Lambda functions and Amazon API Gateway interfaces to implement application logic
- Assess existing application components and define the target modernized architecture
- Build content extraction and classification pipelines using Amazon Bedrock foundation models
- Integrate AI processing stages into application workflows so outputs feed downstream business logic
- Validate model output quality against the accuracy expectations of a regulated environment
- Lead blended delivery teams spanning AWS and partner personnel
- Present solution design, progress and outcomes directly to customer stakeholders
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in application development with expertise in machine learning
- Background in application modernization initiatives
- Proficiency in AWS Bedrock, AWS Lambda and Amazon API Gateway
- Expertise in Amazon Web Services
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
