We invite a Lead Accessibility Tester specializing in Accessibility Evaluation and UX Design to join our remote team.
As a Lead Accessibility Tester, your role will be to examine ongoing product designs, supply immediate feedback to the Design team, and annotate all finalized designs for the Product Team. This ensures that the product adheres to the client's Accessibility Standards. We are in search of an individual possessing a deep understanding of Global A11Y standards.
Responsibilities
- Ongoing product design review and immediate accessibility improvement feedback provision
- Final design annotation for Product Team handoff to assure Accessibility Standards compliance
- Design team collaboration to integrate accessibility best practices into design processes
- Accessibility evaluations and digital product usability testing conduction
- Accessibility best practices advocacy within the organization and accessibility standards awareness promotion
- Close cooperation with cross-functional teams to meet accessibility requirements during product development
- Guidance and support provision for the implementation of accessible design and user experience
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of Accessibility Testing experience
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Expertise in Accessibility Evaluation and Accessibility Fundamentals
- Figma use experience for design annotation and collaboration
- Comprehensive understanding of UX Design principles and best practices
- Capability to provide immediate feedback to Design teams for accessibility improvements
- Familiarity with Global A11Y standards and best practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective cross-functional team work
- Solid understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Usability testing conduction and accessibility evaluation test plan creation experience
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong advocacy for accessibility best practices within the organization

- Assistive technologies and screen readers experience
- Familiar with WCAG 2.1 guidelines and standards
- Knowledge of inclusive design principles and accessible interaction design
