We are looking for a Lead Accessibility Analyst to collaborate with our team in shaping digital experiences that are inclusive, functional, and accessible for all users.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, using your expertise in accessibility standards and testing to deliver user-centric solutions that meet regulatory and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with UX designers, developers, and strategists to implement accessibility principles in project initiatives
- Conduct manual and automated accessibility testing to identify barriers in digital products
- Recommend solutions to ensure WCAG AA, ADA, and Section 508 compliance in design and development processes
- Educate cross-functional teams about accessibility best practices, guidelines, and industry developments
- Validate fixes through re-testing and address unresolved accessibility issues
- Ensure documentation and deliverables clearly outline accessibility requirements
- Lead and contribute to accessibility audits, providing detailed reports with findings and actionable recommendations
- Work with stakeholders to prioritize improvements related to accessibility across digital platforms
- Utilize tools like Miro, Figma, and Jira for documenting and tracking accessibility-related tasks
- Align international accessibility compliance efforts with organizational goals
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with accessibility standards, including WCAG AA, ADA, and Section 508
- Background in accessibility testing using both manual approaches and tools like Axe, ANDI, and WAVE
- Strong understanding of development methodologies and knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to address accessibility fixes
- Familiarity with Miro, Figma, and Jira for effective collaboration, documentation, and issue tracking
- Competency in fostering awareness and compliance with accessibility laws and standards across teams
Nice to have
- Background in eCommerce platforms with a focus on addressing unique accessibility needs
- Knowledge of assistive technologies like screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver) and related accessibility testing tools
- Expertise in building scalable accessible design systems that support multiple projects or products
