We are looking for a Junior Java Software Engineer to help build scalable, high-performance applications across backend and frontend technologies. You will work with Java, Spring Boot, Quarkus, Apache Camel, and modern JavaScript frameworks while integrating databases, APIs, and messaging systems in a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend services using Java-based frameworks
- Build and support full stack applications with modern frontend frameworks
- Integrate relational and non-relational databases into the application architecture
- Implement messaging solutions for asynchronous service-to-service communication
- Develop and maintain REST and SOAP APIs for internal and external consumption
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify technical requirements and propose solutions
- Maintain code quality by following version control best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the full technology stack
- Participate in code reviews and offer constructive feedback to peers
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience as a Junior Full Stack Developer
- Knowledge of Java
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Quarkus, and Apache Camel frameworks
- Working knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, Redis)
- Practical experience with Node.js, ReactJS, NestJS, and AngularJS frameworks
- Basic understanding of messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Familiarity with REST and SOAP API development
- Comfort with code versioning workflows using Git
Nice to have
- Exposure to Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Familiarity with API Gateways and Kubernetes clusters
- Experience with SAP S/4 integrations or RFC Protocol
- Understanding of DevOps and containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, among others)
- Knowledge of microservices architecture, cloud-ready development, and event-driven requests
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
