Junior Java Developer for Financial Information Company

We are currently looking for a remote Java Developer with 6+ months of experience in Java to join our team.

The customer is a UK-based stock exchange and financial information company. It helps companies to raise capital and investors to build their portfolios across a range of global markets.

Responsibilities
  • Coding Development and Implementation: investigating on the new technology or solution according to the new requirements, implementing the solution according to the specification provided by architect, finding the best way or solution to resolve the problem or issue
  • Adding New Features: developing software solutions by studying information needs, adding new feature into the service, doing the code change, code reviewing, unit testing and integration testing on the change
  • Bug fixing: providing information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues, debugging on the software code, fixing the bugs found in the service, doing the code change, code reviewing, unit testing and integration testing on the change
  • Doing Integration testing with QA team, developing integration test script of service with QA team, running the test script and generating test result to the QA team
  • Maintaining Microservice: guaranteeing the availability of the whole service, monitoring the health of the Microservice, recovering the Microservice if necessary
Requirements
  • 6+ months of Java Developer experience
  • Experience with Spring Boot including Spring MVC, IoC
  • Experience with Java11 or at least Java8
  • Experience with Gradle
  • Experience with REST API
  • Experience with JUnit
  • Experience in computer science, information technology, or related discipline
  • Familiarity with AWS services – DynamoDB, Lambda, Cloudwatch, Fargate, SNS, Redis, Elasticsearch, API Gateway, ALB, Route 53, VPC (in order of priority)
  • English level B2+
