Junior Java Developer for a Management services company

Currently, we are looking for a remote Java Developer for a Management services company to join our team.

The customer is the world's 2nd largest asset management company. It has modernization projects driven by digital transformation focused on Agility, innovation, and automation.

Responsibilities
  • Implementing designs and requirements into a shippable product
  • Writing code
  • Managing and self-organizing to accomplish their own work
  • Participating in sprint planning and estimation, breaking down user stories into pieces as needed
  • Using design and coding best practices to build high-quality components and solutions
  • Performing Unit, Integration, Performance Testing
  • Participating in peer level code reviews
  • Proactively identifying the issues and collaborating with team to solve them
  • Following and promoting best practices
  • Mentoring other developers and collaborating with peers
  • Working with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Enablement, and Design teams to assist with Data-related technical issues and supporting their Data infrastructure needs.
Requirements
  • 6+ months of Java experience
  • Experience in designing, developing applications and Microservices, REST APIs
  • Experience in Scrum team
  • Experience in Agile methodology
  • Experience with Cloud, Microservices design and Coding
  • Knowledge of Software Quality Control processes and Agile project
  • Understanding of Systems Engineering processes
  • Experience in API Testing and Automation
  • Experience in DevSecTestOps
  • Experience in non-functional testing
  • English level B2+
Nice to have
  • Knowledge of AWS Simple Notification/Queue Service
  • Experience with REST
