We're currently looking for a remote Java Developer with 6+ months of Java development experience to join our team.
The customer is one of the world’s largest providers of financial markets data and infrastructure, serving over 40,000 institutions in approximately 190 countries. It provides leading data and insights, trading platforms, and open data and technology platforms that connect a thriving global financial markets community - driving performance in trading, investment, wealth management, regulatory compliance, market data management, enterprise risk, and fighting financial crime.
The main pool of tasks is associated with the suite of risk intelligence applications development.
Responsibilities
- Developing a suite of risk intelligence applications comprising of the capabilities to address Know-Your-Client and AML (Anti-Money Laundering)
Requirements
- 6+ months of Java development experience
- Experience in Agile Software Development Methodologies, primarily Scrum
- Experience in development of RESTful services
- Knowledge of core libraries and common design patterns
- The ability to perform code reviews adhering to Clean Code principles
- English level B2+
Nice to have
- Experience with Front-end technologies (HTML 5, JavaScript ES5/ES6, AMD, SASS/LESS, Node.js, Dojo Toolkit, Nginx, Grunt)
- Experience with deployment to AWS and development using AWS-native services (incl. Lambda, API Gateway, Kinesis, etc.)
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools in Cloud environments
- Experience with Elasticsearch
