Junior Functional Testing Engineer for a Healthcare Company

We are currently looking for a remote Functional Testing Engineer with 6+ months of QA experience with functional testing as a primary skill and an understanding of testing levels and types to join our team.

The customer is one of the world's leading pharmaceutical healthcare companies. Its principal business is medicines, biologics, vaccines, and consumer and animal products.

Responsibilities
  • Analyzing requirements (clarify possible gaps and dependencies in stories)
  • Collaborating closely with BA, designer
  • Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases
  • Creating test scenarios for Automated Testing
  • Performing manual functional testing of the web application using testing levels and types defined in the test strategy
  • Tracking defects in Jira following the set flow
  • Preparing Sprint Test result report
  • Participating in troubleshooting and triage process
  • Collaborating closely with the development team on possible issues
  • Working as a part of Agile Scrum team (participate in all aspects of the Agile process)
  • Reporting clearly to supervisors on the status of assigned tasks
Requirements
  • 6+ months of QA experience
  • Understanding of testing levels and types
  • Understanding of the requirements analysis process
  • Knowledge of testing types used at the project (web testing, functional and domain testing, compatibility testing, UI and usability testing, integration testing, regression testing)
  • Knowledge and skills in defects hunting, understanding of what defect lifecycle is
  • Experience with requirements traceability matrix
  • Experience of providing testing activities result report, improvements proposal
  • Ability to estimate QA activities, create test cases, investigate business logic
  • Theoretical knowledge and practical skills in Agile process
  • Experience with browser debugging
  • Understanding XML, JSON
  • Understanding of CI/CD
  • Understanding of how to test integration between systems
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • English level B1+
