Currently, we're looking for a remote Environments Support Engineer for an Information Services Company.
Responsibilities
- Level 2 support services for new CMP applications and components: Condor, MACE, conversion services (PCI team) etc., Documentum and Mercury TAL is secondary.
- Incident and problem management: investigation and troubleshooting of content related issues (QA/UAT issues from DEV team), escalation of operational and development issues to appropriate teams after preliminary analysis.
- Proactive monitoring and event management: analysis of system alerts, logs, system behaviors, resource utilization and performance trends.
- Participation in daily verbal and email communications in English.
- Utilized technologies: Windows/Linux, MS SQL Server, Documentum, AllegroGraph, XML/XSLT, SQL/Bash scripting, Java technologies, Apache.
Requirements
- 6+ months experience in Production support of content management and delivery platforms such as Documentum, which can be consistent with Wolters Kluwer CMP/Condor platform (experience with delivery platforms i.e. supporting “pipelines” which deliver content sets thru different stages to its final state and publish).
- Strong skills in content related issues investigation and troubleshooting, incidents and problems solving. Knowledge of XML/XSLT languages is required to perform such investigations.
- QA or Development background (Java) is a plus as a part of troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to develop queries/scripts for data analysis using SQL (person should be able to quick learn of Documentum DQL and Allegrograph SPARQL to perform then various queries), and logs analysis using Bash.
- Good technical background in Windows, MS SQL Server, Linux, Apache: operational background is a plus.
- Understanding of Java technologies: ability to analyze issues with custom tools/scripts running on JVM.
- English level B2
