Junior Backend Developer for a Fintech Company

Currently, we are hiring a remote Backend Developer with 6+ months of software development experience to join our team.

The customer is a technology and digital asset company that provides software-as-a-service, brokerage, exchange, and insured custody services for institutions and professional investors.

Responsibilities
  • Driving key design and architecture decisions across teams
  • Designing, implementing, testing, shipping, maintaining and improving software for our digital assets business
  • Working with other developers, product owners and the DevOps team to deliver software to production
  • Producing, implementing and documenting detailed designs that meet the requirements in terms of functionality, performance, scalability and security
  • Delivering and executing detailed test plans to ensure the quality of the features
  • Developing and improving our CI/CD workflow, tools and processes
  • Efficiently troubleshoot, identify root causes and resolve issues
  • Keeping up to date with the best engineering practices and new technologies
Requirements
  • 6+ months of software development experience
  • Experience building backend systems with one or more programming languages such as Java, JS/Node.js, Golang, Python, Kotlin, Rust or other
  • Passion for technology with a strong desire to learn and improve
  • Good communication skills
  • BS/MS in computer science, engineering or a related field
  • English level B2+
Nice to have
  • Experience with blockchain technologies, cryptocurrencies, digital assets
  • Experience with financial systems
  • Experience with CI/CD, containerization, telemetry, monitoring and alerting
  • Experience in developing scalable systems on AWS, Azure or other cloud platforms
