Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and the Android SDK within an agile engineering stream
  • Collaborate directly with the customer to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet real-world needs
  • Research and evaluate emerging mobile technologies and practices to drive innovation within the team
  • Participate actively in peer-to-peer code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge across the team
  • Contribute to sprint planning, stand-ups, and agile ceremonies using Jira to manage and track deliverables
  • Apply and refine architecture patterns such as MVVM and MVI to build scalable, maintainable Android applications
Requirements
  • Minimum 6 months of hands-on production experience in Android development, demonstrating readiness beyond an internship level
  • Proficiency in Kotlin and Android SDK with practical understanding of Coroutines for asynchronous programming
  • Solid grasp of dependency injection concepts and their application in Android projects
  • Familiarity with architecture patterns including MVVM and MVI in a production environment
  • Understanding of agile processes and workflows with working knowledge of Jira
  • Strong eagerness to learn new technologies, collaborate cross-functionally, and grow within a global engineering environment
