We are looking for a Junior Android Developer to join our remote team, working on exciting projects for a leading US holding company. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Android Developer with a passion for creating innovative and user-friendly Android apps.

Responsibilities
  • Develop superior Android applications that cater to user requirements and organizational needs
  • Uphold code quality and maintainability through effective testing and supervision
  • Debug and resolve technical issues as they crop up
  • Deliver software products according to priorities and deadlines
  • Participate in meetings and technical discussions to provide input and feedback
  • Foster effective communication with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in Android development
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
  • At least 6 months of experience in Android development, inclusive of Java and Kotlin
  • Strong knowledge of the Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
  • Ability to debug code and solve technical issues
  • Basic knowledge of RestAPI / Networking / HTTPS
  • Good understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  • Understanding of software development theory and design principles
  • Some experience with mobile technology stack, such as Dagger 2, Rx Java and Gradle
  • Capability to work in a team-oriented environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work remotely, demonstrating excellent time management skills
  • Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency
