We are looking for a Junior Android Developer to join our remote team, working on exciting projects for a leading US holding company. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Android Developer with a passion for creating innovative and user-friendly Android apps.
Responsibilities
- Develop superior Android applications that cater to user requirements and organizational needs
- Uphold code quality and maintainability through effective testing and supervision
- Debug and resolve technical issues as they crop up
- Deliver software products according to priorities and deadlines
- Participate in meetings and technical discussions to provide input and feedback
- Foster effective communication with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in Android development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
- At least 6 months of experience in Android development, inclusive of Java and Kotlin
- Strong knowledge of the Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
- Ability to debug code and solve technical issues
- Basic knowledge of RestAPI / Networking / HTTPS
- Good understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Understanding of software development theory and design principles
- Some experience with mobile technology stack, such as Dagger 2, Rx Java and Gradle
- Capability to work in a team-oriented environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work remotely, demonstrating excellent time management skills
- Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency
