We are currently looking for a remote JavaScript Software Engineering Team Lead with 6+ years of experience, general knowledge of BI visualization tools and a good grasp of SQL to join our team.
The customer is a provider of high-quality business services in such areas as IT, Procurement, HR, Product Lifecycle Services, Financial Reporting and Analytics, and Real Estate and Facility Services.
Responsibilities
- Assessing business questions and developing prototypes of the front-end solutions to fit each business question & ensure efficient performance of the solution
- Creating data transformation list for each of the visualization and work with the BI Back-End Developer to decide where to execute the said transformations (back-end or front-end) and develop the solution accordingly
- Advising on the ETL required to reach user-defined objectives in visualizations
- Developing the visualizations using pre-aligned set of tools
Requirements
- 6+ years of JavaScript development experience
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- Experience with UI / UX concepts
- Knowledge of BI visualization tools, such as Qlik Sense, Power BI and Tableau
- Knowledge of tool-specific front-end optimization technics and custom-made extensions
- Knowledge of SQL and data ETL tools, such as, for example, Knime & Informatica
- Knowledge of HTML5 to enhance the UI and visualizations
- English level B2+
