We are seeking a JavaScript Development Tech Lead to join our remote team and lead the development of innovative software solutions.
Our client is a leading provider of cutting-edge enterprise software solutions, including ServiceNow-based products.
As a Tech Lead, you will be responsible for guiding and mentoring a team of talented developers, driving the successful implementation of high-quality software solutions. You will play a critical role in developing efficient, scalable, and maintainable software while fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of software solutions, including web applications and ServiceNow-based products
- Collaborate with business analysts, UX designers, and DevOps team members to ensure efficient implementation and delivery of software products
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in development practices and technologies
- Guide and mentor less experienced developers, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using JavaScript and related technologies, optimizing the performance of the software
- Develop and maintain Unit Tests, ensuring the reliability and functionality of the software
- Ensure that all software solutions comply with the customer's infrastructure and security standards, adhering to best practices
- Monitor and optimize the performance of the software solutions, utilizing various monitoring and analysis tools
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide optimal solutions
- Take initiative and responsibility for the product/part of product/stream, demonstrating strong project management skills
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, tackling complex technical challenges with effective solutions
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a JavaScript Developer, with a strong foundation in ReactJS and Angular
- At least 1 year of experience in leading software development teams, demonstrating adept leadership skills
- Expertise in TypeScript, AngularJS
- Experience in object-oriented programming, HTML, and CSS, with a deep understanding of their importance in web development
- Strong experience in Unit Testing, with proficiency in various testing frameworks and tools
- Excellent problem-solving and algorithmic thinking skills, enabling effective technical decision-making
- Ability to take ownership and responsibility for product development, demonstrating engineering thinking and strong project management skills
- Upper-intermediate English language skills (B2+ level), enabling effective communication with the team and stakeholders
Nice to have
- Experience with ServiceNow, enhancing the development and customization of ServiceNow-based products
- Familiarity with Fusion, enabling efficient integration of diverse software solutions
- Understanding of software engineering best practices and principles, such as SOLID, DRY, and KISS, ensuring the quality and maintainability of the software solutions
