We are looking for a highly skilled Java Solution Architect II to join our team and drive the modernization of the mainframe system for our client.
As a Solution Architect II, you will play a vital role in the implementation of modernization technologies, and drive Business and IT Transformation initiatives. You will be responsible for designing, documenting, and implementing architecture solutions that meet the client's requirements, leveraging cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Your role will also entail leading the technical side of project delivery, including software development and integration, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
Responsibilities
- Design, document, and implement architecture solutions that meet client requirements, leveraging cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Lead the technical side of project delivery, including software development and integration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and delivery within agreed timelines
- Provide guidance and technical support to team members, ensuring the development of scalable, secure, and reliable software solutions
- Participate in the development and implementation of Business and IT Transformation initiatives, including Architecture Design, Cloud Transformation, and IT Transformation
- Ensure compliance with relevant architecture standards and frameworks
- Act as a liaison between the client and the development team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to meet project objectives
- Implement and maintain effective architecture processes and practices that focus on automation, innovation, and efficiency
- Continuously evaluate industry trends and best practices to refine and implement the most effective architecture strategies
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of practical hands-on experience in software development with a focus on Java
- At least 3 projects in a technical team lead role with constant hands-on work during the last 3 years
- At least 2 years of experience as a Software Architect or a similar role
- Strong understanding of Business and IT Transformation initiatives, including Architecture Design, Cloud Transformation, and IT Transformation
- Experience with modernization technologies, including the modernization of Mainframe Systems
- Expertise in Spring, with the ability to develop scalable, secure, and reliable software solutions
- Advanced understanding of cloud computing platforms, including AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Ability to effectively communicate complex technical projects to various staff types to achieve support for plans and proposals
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Advanced English language skills (C1 level), allowing for effective written and spoken collaboration and active participation in meetings and discussions with the team and stakeholders
- Working from the office occasionally is required
Nice to have
- Experience with ReactJS for developing dynamic and responsive solutions
- Certifications in relevant technologies and architecture frameworks are a plus
