We are on the lookout for a Java Solution Architect to bolster our remote team. This role involves leading client-centric projects, where you will demonstrate exceptional leadership and solid technical acumen in developing secure, scalable, and efficient integration solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive approach, goal-oriented mindset, exemplary communication capabilities, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities
  • Formulate comprehensive integration specifications, field mappings, and designs across the integration deployment lifecycle
  • Collaborate closely with BPO partners and client teams to gather requirements, and oversee the implementation, support, and integration of various applications to align with business aims
  • Translate both technical and business requirements into practical and efficient tech solutions
  • Encourage a collaborative work environment by interacting with diverse teams
  • Clearly articulate complex technical issues and solutions to clients and non-technical team members in an understandable manner
  • Lead the discourse on solution design and integration strategy
  • Provide expert advice on the technical aspects of integration projects
  • Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality control and adherence to architectural standards
  • Contribute to the development of architectural roadmaps
  • Mentor and guide team members on industry best practices and emerging trends
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years in a Solution Architect role
  • At least 10 years of Java development experience
  • More than 2 years in technical leadership roles
  • Proven track record with at least 3 successful system design and architecture projects initiated from scratch in the last 3 years
  • Competency in software development with a concentration on one or more backend technologies such as .NET, Python
  • Profound knowledge of database technologies and strong data analysis skills
  • Experience with middleware software and adept in designing and deploying financial services solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate standard enterprise systems like SAP, Salesforce, and Oracle with various custom solutions
  • Mastery of software architecture, API design, and communication protocols
  • Understanding of secure software development practices and experience with high-security standards
  • Comprehensive knowledge of data management processes including data capture, warehousing, segmentation, master data management, mining, storing, cleansing, and security
  • Well-versed in the software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Strong command of English, both verbal and written, at a B2+ level or higher
Nice to have
  • Experience or knowledge in the financial services (FS) or business process outsourcing (BPO) industries
  • Additional relevant industry-specific certifications or training
