Java Solution Architect

We are actively seeking a Java Solution Architect to strengthen our remote team. This position entails leading projects focused on client needs, where you will exhibit outstanding leadership and robust technical expertise in crafting secure, scalable, and effective integration solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach, a goal-driven attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.

Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed integration specifications, field mappings, and designs throughout the integration deployment lifecycle
  • Partner closely with BPO partners and client teams to identify requirements, and manage the implementation, support, and integration of diverse applications to meet business objectives
  • Convert both technical and business requirements into viable and efficient technological solutions
  • Promote a team-oriented work environment through active engagement with various teams
  • Effectively explain complex technical issues and solutions in a manner that is understandable to clients and non-technical team members
  • Steer discussions on solution design and integration strategies
  • Offer specialized advice on the technical details of integration projects
  • Execute rigorous code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards and architectural guidelines
  • Aid in the creation of architectural roadmaps
  • Train and mentor team members on the latest best practices and industry developments
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in a Solution Architect role
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Java development
  • Over 2 years of experience in roles requiring technical leadership
  • Demonstrated success in at least 3 major system design and architecture projects from inception in the past 3 years
  • Skilled in software development with an emphasis on backend technologies such as .NET, Python
  • Deep understanding of database technologies and robust data analysis capabilities
  • Experienced with middleware software and skilled in designing and delivering financial services solutions
  • Proven ability to seamlessly integrate standard enterprise systems such as SAP, Salesforce, and Oracle with custom solutions
  • Expert knowledge in software architecture, API design, and communication protocols
  • Familiarity with secure software development practices and high-security standards
  • Extensive knowledge of data management including data capture, warehousing, segmentation, master data management, mining, storing, cleansing, and security
  • Proficient in the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Excellent proficiency in English, both verbal and written, at a B2+ level or higher
Nice to have
  • Background or experience in the financial services (FS) or business process outsourcing (BPO) sectors
  • Possession of additional industry-specific certifications or training
