We are looking for a motivated Java Developer to build scalable backend services in a cloud-native environment. You will deliver reliable APIs and microservices, collaborate across disciplines, and help raise engineering quality. Apply to grow your impact with us!
Responsibilities
- Design backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Build scalable microservices with security and performance in mind
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for enterprise applications
- Collaborate with developers, QA, product owners, and architects across the SDLC
- Review code and uphold engineering best practices
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement lasting fixes
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code
- Optimize application reliability, scalability, and performance
- Use cloud-based infrastructure and modern DevOps practices
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including planning and retrospectives
- Document technical decisions and share knowledge with the team
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong Java skills (Java 17+ preferred)
- Hands-on Spring Boot experience
- REST API design and development experience
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
- Solid object-oriented design knowledge
- Version control proficiency with Git workflows
- Relational database knowledge and SQL skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Clear written and spoken communication skills
- Minimum English language level of B1+
Nice to have
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience
- GraphQL API development or consumption experience
- Elasticsearch experience
