We are seeking an Instructional Designer to create effective learning experiences that help clients close knowledge and behavior gaps and support digital transformation. In this role, you will partner with subject matter experts and a global team to design, develop, and evaluate engaging learning solutions across multiple modalities.
Responsibilities
- Analyze learner needs with subject matter experts and define target audiences
- Define learning objectives aligned to program goals and learner requirements
- Design learning solutions across online and in-person modalities
- Develop compelling content that aligns with objectives and selected delivery methods
- Create engaging learning activities that reinforce knowledge and skill application
- Storyboard learning experiences and coordinate with designers and multimedia developers
- Design assessments to measure the effectiveness of courses, modules, and learning elements
- Maintain project documentation and organized course folders
- Communicate proactively with SMEs and teammates throughout development
- Apply adult learning principles and instructional design best practices across deliverables
- Collaborate with internal teams to use available tools and resources effectively
Requirements
- A degree in Instructional Design, Adult Learning, or a related discipline
- 3+ years of instructional design experience
- Hands-on experience using authoring tools, such as Captivate, Storyline, or Evolve, to create sophisticated adaptive learning content
- Strong stakeholder leadership skills to guide SMEs through analysis and design decisions
- Proven project management skills to prioritize multiple initiatives and meet strict deadlines
- Knowledge of instructional design methodologies, including but not limited to: ADDIE model, SAM, backward design, e-learning blueprint, design thinking, and interactive learning experiences
- Strong visual design skills and attention to detail
- Advanced English skills (C1 level or higher) in written and verbal communication
Nice to have
- Experience with Vyond
- Expertise in multimedia development
- Experience applying accessibility and usability standards (Section 508, WCAG)
