We are seeking an experienced remote Instructional Design Manager to join our team and drive business growth while fostering client partnerships within the specified location.

As a strategist specializing in learning and enablement, you will leverage your strong communication and management abilities to establish and lead teams for learning and enablement roles. You will lead and be consultative in client engagements, while managing client relationships with transparency and integrity.

Responsibilities
  • Drive business growth and foster client partnerships within the specified location
  • Develop and implement learning and enablement strategies that align with business objectives and client needs
  • Establish and lead teams for learning and enablement roles, ensuring effective utilization of resources and attainment of goals
  • Manage client relationships with transparency and integrity, leading and being consultative in client engagements
  • Ensure high-quality results that meet or exceed client expectations, while maintaining a focus on business growth
  • Engage in continuous learning and development of technical and soft skills to stay current with industry trends and best practices
Requirements
  • More than 12 years of relevant experience in an established consulting firm environment, preferably focused in the Tech Industry, a blend of consulting and industry is also acceptable. This experience must include leading client-facing learning and enablement initiatives, building learning organizations, and business development.
  • More than 5 years of experience managing teams of Instructional Designers, Content Developers, and Workforce Experience Vendors
  • Experience optimizing Learning Organizations’ processes, systems, workflows, and roles/responsibilities
  • Viewed internally and externally as an expert on Learning; understands and speaks confidently; keeps current on trends within emerging technology, best practices and policies, use a broad base of experience to advise clients on learning experience design and learning organization solutions to keep in line with the rapidly changing business landscape
  • Knowledge of Agile and Human-centered Design methodologies
  • Working knowledge of and ongoing curiosity of industry-leading Learning development tools and software (Articulate, Captivate, Vyond, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.) and Learning Management Systems (Cornerstone, Skillsoft, Intellum, Litmos, Docebo, etc.)
  • Expertise in sourcing, contracting, and managing localization, learning technology, content creation, and multimedia teams and contractors
  • Formal education in Instructional Design, Learning Experience Design, or related discipline
  • Expert knowledge of instructional design methodologies including but not limited to: ADDIE model, SAM, backward design, e-learning blueprint, design thinking, and interactive learning experiences
  • Expert knowledge of assessing and measuring learning impacts and outcomes
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, work independently, and meet strict deadlines
  • Native-level English Language writing and speaking ability (C2 level)
