Guidewire PolicyCenter Integration Team Leader

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Guidewire PolicyCenter Integration Team Leader to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading integration projects with Guidewire PolicyCenter, ensuring the technical design and implementation align with business requirements, and leveraging proven architectural patterns for efficient solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Work with Guidewire Policy Center implementations and actively participate in requirements review, assessment, and sizing of configuration and technical efforts
  • Ensure technical design and specifications align with traceable user-stories/requirements and adhere to Guidewire and the client's development best-practices
  • Leverage available Guidewire accelerators to accelerate development activities and reuse proven architectural patterns for integrations or product development
  • Ensure delivered code is standards-based, G-unit tested, and code-reviewed with supporting artifacts in line with business requirements and technical specifications
  • Develop integration solutions including Batch processes, Message Queues, and Event Messaging
  • Develop integration solutions with internal and external consumers using Guidewire EDGE APIs or EDGE oriented extended models
  • Create transactional, account, and user-management integrations with Guidewire Policy Center and external systems
  • Establish and execute traceable unit and integration tests (automated as agreed)
  • Demonstrate expertise in Guidewire integration concepts: Batch Processing, Message Queues, and Event Processing
  • Design/develop REST APIs or Web Services to expose Guidewire functionality to consumers
  • Conduct code/peer reviews and ensure comprehensive testing following continuous integration and deployment activities
  • Support various life-cycle phases during and post-implementation, including production support and maintenance
  • Lead offshore teams and navigate through ambiguities to lead teams to solutioning
  • Utilize Agile methodology and tooling in a technical owner capacity
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter integration development
  • Overall 5+ years experience developing web-based Java/J2EE or .Net applications
  • Certification in Guidewire Policy Center integration with strong hands-on experience
  • 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
  • Strong experience with Guidewire Edge APIs and experience exposing Guidewire functionality to external consumers
  • Advanced knowledge of XML, JSON, and SQL
  • Strong understanding of reconciliation processes
  • Experience with web service hosting and consuming using the Guidewire EDGE Layer
  • Experience with source control tools like GIT, TFS, or similar
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of Commercial P&C insurance
Nice to have
  • Demonstrated expertise with Guidewire APIs, Product Designer, GX Model, Integrations, and Product Model development
  • Experienced with continuous integration and deployment methodologies
