We are seeking a skilled Google Cloud Technical Lead/Lead Engineer to join our team and contribute to infrastructure and CI/CD development for Next-Gen Data Management. In this role, you will focus on GCP infrastructure development, building a Data Platform on GCP, and driving product development initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain highly available production systems
- Integrate solutions with other applications and platforms outside the framework
- Design and implement build, deployment, and configuration management systems
- Analyze, organize, and provide in-depth code reviews to improve applications dynamically and ensure the timely completion of projects
- Perform script updates due to changes in requirements or implementations
- Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with the development team to streamline code deployment
- Optimize system performance, availability and scalability
- Collaborate with team members to improve developed tools, systems and procedures, and data security
- Brainstorm new ideas and ways to improve development delivery
- Write the project documentation and conduct knowledge transfers
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering or a related field
- At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
- Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code
- Background in designing and maintaining highly available production systems
- Skills in building CI/CD pipelines, deployment, and configuration management systems
- Competency in troubleshooting production issues and optimizing system performance, availability, and scalability
- Understanding of integrating solutions across multiple applications and platforms
- Capability to perform in-depth code reviews and mentor team members
- Familiarity with writing technical documentation and conducting knowledge transfer sessions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (B2+ level)
