Join our dynamic team as a remote GCP Cloud Practice Lead We're seeking an enthusiastic individual who not only possesses a strong technical background in Cloud GCP but is also a recognized figure within the local tech community. In this remote role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing our company's technical brand within the local technical community through various channels such as podcasts, blogs, and active participation in meetups. As a key coordinator in the cloud domain, you'll leverage your hands-on experience with technologies like GCP, Terraform, Bash, Python, Kubernetes, Docker, and Software Configuration Management Tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to actively grow and engage the local technical community
- Coordinate and lead initiatives in the cloud domain, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing
- Utilize technical expertise to contribute to the development and implementation of cloud solutions
- Build and nurture relationships within the tech community to facilitate networking and partnership opportunities
- Provide technical mentorship and support to community members, helping them navigate challenges and stay updated on the latest industry trends
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in cloud development
- At least 3 projects/cases in a technical team lead role with constant hands-on work or pre-sale activities with exposure to customers on real accounts during the last 2-3 years
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in Cloud GCP
- Proven experience with technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Software Configuration Management Tools
- Fluency in scripting languages such as Bash, Ruby, and Python
- Knowledge of Terraform
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with community members
- Experience mentoring Engineers in the corresponding discipline
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2+ level)
