Our team is seeking a remote GCP Cloud Practice Lead to join us. Our ideal candidate is an individual with strong technical capabilities in Cloud GCP, who also demonstrates a substantial presence within the local tech landscape. Your participation in this role will contribute significantly to the propagation of our company's technical influence in the local tech community through various mediums such as podcasts, blogs, and local meetups. Leveraging your hands-on experience with technologies like GCP, Terraform, Bash, Python, Kubernetes, Docker, and Software Configuration Management Tools, you'll be coordinating cloud-based initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute strategies to actively expand and engage the local tech community
- Spearhead and coordinate cloud-related initiatives, promoting collaboration and knowledge exchange
- Cultivate relationships within the tech community to encourage networking and partnership prospects
- Contribute your technical expertise to the development and implementation of Cloud GCP solutions
- Offer technical mentorship and support to community members, assisting them in overcoming challenges and keeping them updated on the latest trends in the industry
Requirements
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience in cloud development
- At least 3 successful projects/cases in a technical team lead role with consistent hands-on work or pre-sale activities and customer exposure in the last 2-3 years
- 2+ years of experience as an Architect
- Strong technical proficiency with hands-on experience in Cloud GCP
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Ruby, and Python
- Demonstrated experience with technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Software Configuration Management Tools
- Familiarity with Terraform
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience mentoring Engineers in the related discipline
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills (B2+ level)

- Advanced public speaking and presentation skills
- Ownership of a personal technology podcast or blog demonstrating expertise in Cloud GCP
