We are looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join a delivery team working on enterprise-grade solutions in the financial services domain. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development and maintenance of robust back-end services and business process integrations.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain enterprise Java applications using JSP and deployed on IBM WebSphere
- Implement and integrate SOAP-based web services using WSDL and XML
- Work with Microsoft SQL Server, writing and optimising queries, stored procedures and data models
- Model and implement business processes using BPMN standards
- Collaboration with business analysts and architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Participation in code reviews while contributing to and adhering to team engineering standards
- Produce and maintain technical documentation
Requirements
- 4+ years of demonstrable experience in Java, JSP and Microsoft SQL Server
- Proficiency in WSDL and XML
- Greek fluency (spoken and written) as the position involves collaboration with Greek-speaking stakeholders
- Upper-Intermediate English language proficiency (B2+)
Nice to have
- Familiarity with IBM WebSphere, BPMN and Apache Log4j
- Skills in Angular or other JavaScript/front-end framework
- Expertise in Spring Boot and Cloud (Azure or AWS)
- Exposure to AI-native or AI-assisted development including the use of tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or similar
- Understanding of financial services or the banking domain, Scrum environment and Azure DevOps
