Full Stack C# .NET Developer

We are looking for a Full Stack C# .NET Developer with experience in a trading environment, preferably in commodities or energy, to join our Market Analysis team. As a part of this team, you will work in a front office trading environment and interact with business users and stakeholders. Your role will involve the development and support of the platform for managing market and fundamental data across capture, forecasting, and visualization for Power, Gas, and Weather. You will also provide workarounds and bug fixes for urgent production issues, advocate best practices and standards within the development team, and work closely with the lead functional developer to define, develop, test, and release new features.

Responsibilities

Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Full Stack C# .NET Developer
  • Strong .NET / C#
  • Strong SQL Server
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving demand-driven trading environment
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Proactive learner, able to develop their understanding of the domain and existing solution quickly
Nice to have
  • Experience with fundamental modeling of commodities, ideally energy, and meteorology
  • Experience with Azure or other Cloud-based hosting
  • Experience with Entity Framework, Blazor – serverside, .Net API, Redis Cache, Azure Service Bus, or Azure Event Hubs
