We're looking for a Director, Technology Consulting – Telecom SME to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in a hybrid working mode with onsite client presence in KSA and UAE.

In this senior advisory role, you will act as a trusted partner to telecom clients, helping shape strategies and deliver innovative solutions that enable business transformation and sustainable growth. You will influence high-impact digital initiatives, manage executive relationships and contribute to building value-driven propositions that set our clients apart in a competitive market.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary telecom subject matter expert for key clients, ensuring successful delivery and client satisfaction
  • Co-develop account plans and growth strategies in partnership with Account Managers
  • Lead business transformation initiatives, product strategy and roadmap development
  • Shape and scope complex solutions while defining engagement strategies and delivery governance
  • Support contract negotiations and maintain accurate pipeline forecasting for predictable outcomes
  • Develop telecom-focused value propositions, pilot with regional clients and scale globally
  • Drive revenue growth across assigned accounts and promote end-to-end capabilities of EPAM
  • Establish and strengthen senior client relationships to identify additional opportunities
  • Deliver against revenue and profitability targets aligned with business objectives
  • Stay current with emerging telecom technologies, trends and regulatory dynamics impacting the sector
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in technology consulting or advisory roles within the telecom domain
  • Comprehensive knowledge of B2C, B2B and wholesale models as well as full-stack implementations (channels/BSS/OSS)
  • Proven ability to manage complex enterprise engagements in consulting or IT delivery environments
  • Strategic mindset combined with the ability to execute and deliver measurable value
  • Deep understanding of platforms, business models and innovations in the telecom sector
  • Demonstrated success managing performance metrics across multiple accounts
  • Expertise in consulting, strategic planning and solution delivery within large-scale programs
  • Strong network across the Middle East telecom ecosystem, including clients, analysts and partners
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills in Arabic and English
  • Familiarity with GenAI technologies and ability to evaluate AI-driven product opportunities
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; MBA or equivalent is an advantage
Nice to have
  • Experience in global consulting environments with cross-functional leadership exposure
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in the Middle East
