We are looking for an experienced Director of Delivery Management to guide and enhance our service delivery operations across diverse segments of the organization.
The ideal candidate will oversee the execution of projects and programs, reinforce project governance, and foster strong relationships with stakeholders to achieve business goals. This role requires a forward-thinking approach to managing end-to-end delivery structures, integrating innovative technologies, and driving continuous improvements.
Responsibilities
- Manage programs, projects, and organizational management subdivisions
- Ensure project governance while maintaining consistent engagement with executive leaders
- Provide regular stakeholder updates on project progress and crucial milestones to align with organizational priorities
- Promote the adoption of best practices in service delivery
- Introduce and embed new trends observed in the industry
- Cultivate strategic relationships with high-profile clients
- Develop tailored service delivery frameworks to accommodate client-specific needs
- Allocate resources to effectively manage and enhance service delivery systems
- Foster a culture focused on ongoing improvement within service delivery
- Formulate and implement risk management strategies to minimize disruptions
- Design training initiatives to enhance team competence and knowledge
- Ensure strict adherence to client standards and relevant regulations
- Drive the integration of advanced technologies to improve service quality
- Maintain clear and accurate communication channels within the organization
- Continuously review and refine service delivery metrics and performance indicators to align with business objectives
Requirements
- Minimum of 12 years of IT experience, including no fewer than 8 years in service delivery or project/program management
- Proficiency in overseeing large teams or managing significant projects
- Competency in handling intricate and time-sensitive challenges effectively
- History of developing innovative strategies and cohesive delivery models
- Background in creating, implementing, and advocating for advanced delivery strategies
- Skills in designing and executing performance-oriented service delivery structures
- Understanding of service delivery frameworks, methodologies, and best practices
- Capability to design and operationalize well-rounded service delivery solutions
- Strong ability to mentor and empower teams to achieve key outcomes
- Experience managing all phases of a delivery organization, including acquisition, development, and quality enhancement
- Familiarity with resolving lifecycle challenges, managing conflicts, and addressing competing priorities
- English fluency with at least a C1 proficiency level
