We are seeking a Director of Delivery Management who will oversee the successful completion of projects from inception to completion.
This role involves guiding project teams, liaising with stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Finalize and deliver projects on time while meeting quality standards and stakeholder expectations
- Build projects from ground up, setting frameworks, and establishing clear communication and monitoring mechanisms
- Guide projects through changes, implementing necessary adjustments to enhance success
- Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships, understanding their needs and delivering consistent value
- Upsell additional services or products to enhance the company's value proposition
- Navigate through change and uncertainty, adjusting strategies as needed
- Reach agreements through effective negotiation and conflict management
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure quality output and adherence to software engineering principles
- Cultivate an understanding of the company's operational, financial, and strategic aspects
- Demonstrate documented involvement in significant roles such as Project Manager or Scrum Master
Requirements
- Background in project coordination, scrum mastering, or delivery management, with over 7 years of experience
- Knowledge of software engineering practices and principles
- Proficiency in developing project structures, rules, and procedures
- Capability to enhance organizational value through effective upselling
- Skills in navigating change and ensuring adaptability in project management
- Understanding of the operational, financial, and strategic aspects of the company
- Competency in building and maintaining lasting customer relationships
- Flexibility to adapt to new environments and shift strategies as necessary
- Qualifications in project delivery and fulfilling stakeholder expectations
- Showcase of effective negotiation skills and conflict resolution
- Familiarity with roles such as Product Owner, Business Analyst, or related product management activities
Nice to have
- Documented involvement in Discovery or Proof of Concept stages
- Experience in backlog management
- In-depth understanding of product vision and scope adjustments
