Find me a jobWe're looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal, in a hybrid working mode. You will be part of the Electronic Equities team working on a leading ultra-low-latency algorithmic trading platform. The platform leverages cutting-edge hardware and network solutions as well as advanced software technologies, including direct access to network cards to bypass the standard TCP/IP stack and explicit assignment of application threads to physical processors for top performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain infrastructure for eTrading platform modules, components and utilities
- Manage the SDLC pipeline and work on CI/CD improvements including data migration between tools
- Automate application infrastructure configuration
- Support application landscape including hardware (virtual and bare metal) and perform network troubleshooting in close collaboration with Production Support teams
- Collaborate with global engineering, business and support teams to deliver improved platforms and services to clients
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in SRE/DevOps roles
- Proficiency with SDLC toolset including Git, TeamCity, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle and Artifactory
- Strong knowledge of Linux/UNIX, OS fundamentals and TCP/IP stack
- Experience with agile development methodologies and team collaboration
- Familiarity with enterprise monitoring and observability tools such as ITRS Geneos, Prometheus and Grafana
- English language proficiency
- Expert-level skills in Python and Bash
- Practical experience with Ansible or Puppet
- Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Helm
- Basic knowledge of Java, C# or C++
