We're looking for a DevOps Azure Engineer to join our team in the United Kingdom in a remote working mode.

In this role, you will design, build, and automate a highly available Azure-based platform using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and CI/CD best practices. You will work as part of a DevOps team focused on secure, repeatable, and scalable processes for the Digital Intelligence & Fraud Platform. This position requires strong collaboration skills and flexibility to adjust working hours slightly to align with a US-based team.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement Azure-native infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring scalability and high availability
  • Develop reusable IaC modules for compute, networking, storage, security, and monitoring components
  • Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments
  • Script and automate infrastructure operations using Bash and PowerShell
  • Enable end-to-end lifecycle automation, including provisioning, scaling, upgrades, and teardown
  • Collaborate with architecture, security, and application teams to enforce cloud standards and compliance
  • Improve platform reliability, observability, and security-by-design through continuous automation
  • Support operational stability and troubleshoot issues across environments
Requirements
  • Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, identity, and security
  • Strong understanding of Azure networking fundamentals: CIDR, subnets, routing, NSGs, VPNs
  • Proven experience using Terraform for complex, clustered Azure infrastructure
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and PowerShell
  • Experience implementing containerized solutions with Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  • Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git-based version control, and automation best practices
  • Practical experience with configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible)
  • Ability to collaborate with distributed teams and adjust hours for international meetings
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with observability tools and monitoring frameworks for cloud platforms
  • Experience implementing DevSecOps practices and cloud governance controls
  • Knowledge of additional automation and infrastructure compliance frameworks
