We're looking for a seasoned Delivery Manager – GCP Cloud who can spearhead extensive cloud transformation, migration, and modernization initiatives, overseeing complete delivery cycles through cross-functional teams, managing key stakeholder relationships, and delivering strong business results.
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of programme delivery spanning discovery, assessment, landing-zone readiness, wave planning, migration execution, cutover, warranty, and transition to operations, holding overall accountability for Project/People/Account Management
- Direct multiple cross-functional and distributed teams, handling scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, dependencies, risks, issues, and executive governance, while staying mindful of Data Privacy, Security, IP & Responsible AI activities
- Assess solution architectures and migration strategies, confirming application dependency maps, migration waves, security, resilience, performance, operability, and cost assumptions
- Lead migration readiness and technical governance forums such as ARB, WAR, etc., driving Go/No-Go decisions and coordinating cutover, rollback, business validation, warranty, and service acceptance
- Collaborate with client business, security, infrastructure, application, data, and operations leaders to convert technical constraints into clear business impacts and decisions
- Set up delivery metrics covering migration throughput, schedule variance, defect leakage, cutover success, availability, performance, cloud spend, and benefits realization
- Champion adoption of cloud governance and FinOps practices, encompassing policy, tagging, cost allocation, budget controls, rightsizing, and optimization backlogs
- Contribute to presales, estimates, solution shaping, delivery assurance, account growth, and capability development, while mentoring delivery managers and technical leads
- Apply approved enterprise GenAI tools responsibly to enhance planning, reporting, risk analysis, knowledge management, and stakeholder communication while safeguarding data and intellectual property
Requirements
- Between 9 and 14 years of IT delivery experience, with at least 5 years leading substantial cloud transformation, application modernization, infrastructure, or migration programmes, plus experience overseeing multiple workstreams, senior stakeholders, and program execution through Agile & Hybrid methodologies
- Understanding of GCP resource hierarchy (organizations, folders, projects), IAM, VPC, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud DNS, Cloud Logging/Monitoring, Cloud KMS, and backup/DR concepts
- Awareness of migration strategy patterns such as rehost, replatform, and refactor
- Capability to oversee identity, network segmentation, key management, logging, vulnerability remediation, backup/DR, business continuity, and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in RAID management, financial governance, change control, and executive reporting
- Practical knowledge of project tracking systems (Jira/Confluence/ADO/Project) and application of Gen AI tools for Delivery Management
- Grasp of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), containers/Kubernetes (GKE), APIs, integration patterns, and SRE/observability fundamentals
- Skill in facilitating architecture reviews and communicating technical trade-offs, costs, risks, and migration decisions to both business and engineering audiences
Nice to have
- Hands-on exposure to Google Cloud Architecture Framework, Cloud Foundation Toolkit, and foundation/landing-zone build-outs, coupled with familiarity in Google's structured migration methodologies
- Holding a recognized Google Cloud credential such as Digital Leader or Professional Cloud Architect, or a comparable industry-accepted certification
- Possession of programme-management credentials like PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, SAFe, ITIL, or similar recognized qualifications
