We are seeking a highly experienced Data Solution Architect to lead the creation and deployment of data models that enable critical analytics and business intelligence systems.

The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of data architecture principles, a strong technical foundation in modern data warehousing, and the ability to convert business needs into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver efficient data models spanning from source definition to presentation layer, ensuring they align with business goals
Define and document the architecture of data products, applying methodologies like Inmon, Kimball, and Codd modeling frameworks
Engage with cross-functional teams to translate functional specifications into scalable and optimized data models
Optimize data storage and retrieval processes through technologies such as SQL (Ansi-2003), Snowflake, and performance-efficient database design
Establish and manage data persistency approaches while adhering to architectural standards
Produce technical documents with tools like SAP Power Designer (LDM, PDM) to ensure clarity for both business and technical audiences
Address query development and analytic workflows using tools such as AWS S3 and Athena
Support integration and data sharing workflows using Snowflake Data Exchange configurations
Work within project delivery structures by adopting Agile frameworks, including Scrum or SAFe 5.0
Enable Power BI models with a focus on the data layer and model views for analytics

Requirements

Over 7 years of experience in data architecture, modeling, and designing analytics systems
Knowledge of Inmon/Kimball/Codd modeling methodologies for crafting business intelligence data products
Expertise in data warehousing technologies, including SQL (Ansi-2003), Snowflake, and database structure optimization for performance
Proficiency in using SAP Power Designer for logical and physical data modeling (LDM, PDM)
Familiarity with AWS S3, Athena, Bitbucket, and Snowflake features like DDL & DML and Data Exchange configurations
Skills in leveraging Confluence and Jira for collaboration and documentation in Agile projects
Background in utilizing Power BI, particularly in configuring data and model views
Proficient-level Business English and flexibility to produce technical documentation

Nice to have

Background in understanding delivered data products and relevant business terminology
Familiarity with alternative persistency solutions, including NoSQL
Understanding of Agile frameworks such as SAFe 5.0 and product-oriented organizational delivery models
Experience contributing to initiatives requiring collaboration within complex technology ecosystems
