We are seeking a highly skilled Data Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of data models that power impactful analytics and business intelligence systems.

The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of data architecture methodologies and a strong technical background in modern data warehousing, coupled with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

Design and implement robust data models, from source definition to presentation layer, ensuring alignment with business needs
Define and document data product architecture, leveraging methodologies like Inmon, Kimball, and Codd modeling patterns
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate functional specifications into optimized and scalable data models
Ensure efficient data storage and retrieval using technologies such as SQL (Ansi-2003), Snowflake, and performance-optimized database structures
Oversee data persistency strategies and maintain compliance with architectural standards
Document technical designs using tools like SAP Power Designer (LDM, PDM) and ensure technical writing aligns with business and technical stakeholders
Contribute to query design and analytics workflows with tools such as AWS S3 and Athena
Facilitate integration and data sharing processes, including Snowflake Data Exchange and configuration
Collaborate within project delivery frameworks, adopting Agile methods such as Scrum or SAFe 5.0
Assist in enabling Power BI models, focusing on the data and model views for analytics solutions

Requirements

5+ years of experience in data architecture, modeling, and analytics system design
Knowledge of Inmon/Kimball/Codd modeling patterns and methodologies for designing business intelligence data products
Expertise in data warehousing technologies including SQL (Ansi-2003), Snowflake, and database structures for performance optimization
Proficiency in using SAP Power Designer for logical and physical data modeling (LDM, PDM)
Familiarity with AWS S3, Athena, Bitbucket, and Snowflake features such as DDL & DML and Data Exchange configurations
Skills in using Confluence and Jira for coordination and documentation within Agile project methodologies
Background in Power BI usage, specifically in data and model view configurations
Proficient level of Business English and capability to produce technical documentation

Nice to have

Background in functional knowledge of delivered data products and business terminology
Familiarity with NoSQL and other data persistency technologies
Understanding of Agile methodologies such as SAFe 5.0 and knowledge of product-based organizational delivery
Showcase of participation in projects involving collaboration across complex ecosystems
