We are seeking a skilled Data Modeler to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving our Data Modeling initiatives and assisting with the architecture, design, and development of our overall data architecture. This role requires a deep understanding of database modeling, industry standards, and best practices to ensure optimal data management and operations.

Responsibilities

Drive Data Modeling initiatives and assist with the architecture, design, and development of the data architecture
Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models following client data modeling guidelines
Ensure data models conform to industry standards and best practices
Capture and maintain metadata in the enterprise data catalog solution
Assess front-end mock-up vs. available data sources and propose efficient data preprocessing and storage solutions
Review and analyze project documentation, providing high-grade functional requirements
Define data masking and unmasking rules and policies
Enhance data quality verification processes
Lead meetings and phone conferences with clients and senior-level client contacts
Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and work collaboratively to meet objectives
Suggest and implement best practices related to database design to enhance performance and minimize downtime

Requirements

Strong knowledge of SQL for data extraction and processing
Advanced database modeling skills and a solid understanding of data structures
Knowledge of PostgreSQL language peculiarities

Nice to have

Proficiency in Collibra Platform
Familiarity with ERwin software
