We are seeking a Data Consultant with approximately 3 years of experience in data engineering and analytics projects, with knowledge of Snowflake and Databricks. In this role, you will develop, maintain and optimize data integration and transformation processes, participating in the construction of modern analytical solutions under the supervision of architects and senior consultants.

Responsibilities
  • Develop ETL/ELT processes for integrating data from diverse sources
  • Build and maintain data pipelines in Snowflake and Databricks
  • Create data transformations using SQL and Python
  • Participate in data loading, validation and monitoring
  • Support the optimization of queries and data processing
  • Collaborate in the implementation of data models for analysis and reporting
  • Contribute to quality assurance and testing activities
  • Document developments, data flows and technical components
  • Address incidents and perform ongoing maintenance of implemented solutions
  • Work collaboratively with architects, technical leads and business users
Requirements
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in Data Engineering or Business Intelligence
  • Hands-on expertise in Snowflake including database object development, SQL queries, data loading and ETL processes
  • Basic knowledge of Streams, Tasks and Snowpipe
  • Practical skills in Databricks including notebook development, data processing with Apache Spark and use of Delta Lake
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Solid knowledge of relational and dimensional data modeling
  • Background in data integration and ETL processes
  • Competency in Git for version control
  • Analytical skills and problem-solving orientation
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies
  • Effective communication with technical and functional teams alongside teamwork, organization and follow-up of activities
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Nice to have
  • Experience in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
  • Familiarity with Data Lake and Lakehouse
  • Skills in data process orchestration tools
  • Understanding of data quality and governance concepts
  • Certifications or courses in Snowflake, Databricks or cloud platforms
