We’re looking for a Content Strategist to join our remote team in Cape Town.

Our mission is to design seamless journeys while helping global brands create scalable, user-centred content ecosystems. If you thrive on collaboration, value strong communication, and have expertise in both structural and distribution content strategy, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Design content strategies and frameworks, such as information architecture and taxonomy, that enable the desired experience
  • Create scalable content models for headless CMS platforms (like Contentful or Contentstack)
  • Plan and execute content-first design workflows through priority guides, wireframes, sitemaps and page tables
  • Integrate UX foundations into strategy by mapping user journeys, personas, and flows
  • Design clear, consistent, user-centred UX writing for digital experiences and flows
  • Conduct content audits, gap analyses and migration plans
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to translate strategies into scalable systems
  • Lead content marketing strategy for campaigns, channel planning and digital distribution and deliver across multiple channels such as SEO, social media and email automation
  • Collaborate with analytics teams to measure content performance, engagement and conversion metrics
Requirements
  • Proven experience in content strategy (either backend, frontend, or hybrid expertise)
  • Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and how they inform content workflows
  • Experience with headless CMS platforms and omnichannel publishing strategies
  • Solid collaboration skills, particularly with UX design, dev and product teams
  • Ability to create impactful content frameworks that scale across ecosystems
  • Exceptional communication skills — ability to engage with stakeholders and share updates clearly
  • Analytical mindset to measure and optimise content performance across channels
Nice to have
  • Experience working with headless CMS such as Contentful and Contentstack
  • Experience with tools such as HubSpot, Emarsys, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Familiarity with omnichannel strategies and multichannel campaigns
  • A hybrid background that blends backend and frontend content strategy seamlessly
