We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Consultant to join our team and partner with customers on the successful design and delivery of cloud-based solutions. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to technical leads, executives, and partners, guiding them through complex implementations while shaping best practices that drive long-term customer success.

Responsibilities
  • Work with customer technical leads, executives, and partners to manage and deliver successful implementations of cloud solutions, becoming a trusted advisor to decision-makers throughout the engagement
  • Work with internal specialists, product, and engineering teams to package best practices and lessons learned into thought leadership, methodologies, and published assets
  • Interact with sales, partners, and customer technical stakeholders to manage project scope, priorities, deliverables, risks/issues, and timelines for successful customer outcomes
  • Advocate for customer needs in order to overcome adoption blockers and drive new feature development based on your field experience
  • Propose solution architectures and manage the deployment of cloud-based distributed virtualized infrastructure solutions according to complex customer requirements and implementation best practices
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in technical client services
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Experience with networking and system design of load balancers, firewalls and VPN in architecture, developing or maintaining production-grade systems
  • Experience in software development, managing Windows/Linux environments, network design and deployment, databases, and storage systems
  • Native level or equivalent level (N1) of Japanese proficiency
Nice to have
  • Cloud certification
  • Customer-facing migration experience, including service discovery, assessment, planning, execution, and operations
  • Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration technologies such as Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
  • Familiarity with standard IT security practices such as identity and access management, data protection, encryption, and certificate and key management
  • Demonstrated excellent communication, written, presentation, and problem-solving skills
