We are in search of a highly skilled remote Chief Salesforce Developer to lead the design and development of the Salesforce platform, spearheading the creation of a seamless, integrated experience for the internal teams and external clients.
In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with stakeholders to identify and define business requirements, designing and implementing solutions on the Salesforce platform, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of Salesforce solutions tailored to meet business requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver successful project outcomes
- Develop custom Salesforce pages and components using Aura Components and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Create custom logic in Salesforce Apex to integrate with external systems and automate business processes
- Perform Salesforce configuration and customization, including permission sets, profiles, and roles
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including technical design documents and test plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior Salesforce developers
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce technologies and best practices
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in Salesforce development, with proficiency in Salesforce Sales Cloud and Salesforce Service Cloud
- 2+ years of experience in leading and managing teams of developers, ensuring successful project outcomes
- Experience in developing and implementing Salesforce solutions, including custom objects, workflows, and validation rules
- Fluency in Salesforce Query and Search Language (SoQL and SoSL)
- Experience in Salesforce configuration and customization, including permission sets, profiles, and roles
- Strong collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and with external consultants
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Platform Developer II certification, demonstrating advanced proficiency in Salesforce development
- Expertise in Aura Components and Lightning Web Components (LWC), extending the capabilities of the Salesforce platform
- Experience in Salesforce Communities, enabling effective collaboration with external stakeholders
