Chief QA Engineer (Python)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chief QA Engineer with proficiency in automated testing using Python to join our FinTech venture.
You’ll contribute to the delivery of high-quality software products within the financial technology domain, balancing independent work with team collaboration in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Define the QA scope and set the testing strategy
- Ensure software quality through Python-based automation frameworks
- Coordinate efforts with teammates and third-party vendors to streamline QA processes
- Provide QA metrics analysis and deliver insights to clients for improvement
- Engage with client managers and development teams to ensure alignment on testing goals
- Demonstrate knowledge of testing practices in a rapidly evolving FinTech environment
- Offer technical insights to advance software quality assurance processes
Requirements
- 7+ years in software quality assurance and automated testing
- Proficiency in Python with expertise in Python Testing, Robot Framework, and Test Automation Frameworks
- Competency in Testing Strategy alongside experience with Testing Tools
- Background in software development and familiarity with building automation test suites
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in multi-stakeholder environments
Nice to have
- Knowledge of C# and SQL for expanded software development capabilities
- Background in financial technology systems and solutions
- Capability to adapt to additional testing frameworks beyond Python
