We are looking for a Chief NodeJS/ReactJS Developer to oversee the evolution and ongoing support of our digital asset management system across both front-end and back-end components.

You will work directly with clients to enhance the Central Ingest product, applying AWS, Apache Kafka, and event-driven programming principles to deliver robust, scalable solutions. If you are eager to lead innovation and drive technical excellence, we invite you to apply.

Responsibilities

Oversee technical strategy for reengineering the Central Ingest module to maximize scalability and reliability
Establish and uphold SDLC best practices across the engineering team
Direct architectural decisions grounded in data insights and manage proof-of-concept initiatives
Assign and supervise development tasks for the Central Ingest upgrade
Ensure thorough code documentation and communicate updates to internal stakeholders
Execute development activities as needed to meet project objectives
Engage proactively in discussions with clients and team members
Manage site access controls in alignment with user credential policies
Commit code regularly to internal GitHub repositories

Requirements

Extensive professional background in Node.js and ReactJS development, with at least 7 years of experience
Expert-level capability in designing and consuming JSON-based REST APIs
Comprehensive experience with event-driven architecture and streaming design approaches
Proven expertise in integrating cloud platforms including AWS or Azure
High-level proficiency with Git and established pull request methodologies
Knowledge of implementing multi-factor authentication solutions
Recognized ability in project management and coordination
Experience using JIRA for task breakdown and workflow tracking
Exceptional skills in creating clear documentation and system diagrams
Upper-Intermediate (B2) English proficiency for direct client engagement

Nice to have

Background with CI/CD pipeline setup and optimization
Experience with GitHub workflow automation
Understanding of GraphQL API architecture
Awareness of working within Unix-based systems
