We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Manual Tester to join our remote team.
The ideal candidate should have at least 7+ years of work experience in software testing, with a strong foundation in testing fundamentals, documentation (test cases and checklists), requirement analysis, and various test levels or types such as smoke and regression testing.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the functional testing efforts for software applications to identify defects and ensure their functionality meets the required standards
- Create and review comprehensive test documentation, including test cases and checklists, to support testing efforts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, provide input on potential testing scenarios, and ensure alignment between testing and business requirements
- Develop and implement test strategies and test plans, and monitor testing progress to ensure timely delivery of quality results
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant working experience
- 2+ years of relevant leadership experience
- 2-3 finished projects and system design and architecture from scratch
- Extensive knowledge of testing fundamentals and software testing methodologies
- Proven experience in creating and maintaining test documentation, including test cases and checklists
- Strong expertise in requirement analysis or requirement testing
- In-depth understanding of various test levels or types such as smoke and regression testing
- B2 English level
